One obligation, several possible paths

If a business offers an existing collection method alongside a future Tap Tap Go bank route, give the invoice one common identity. Explain that the customer is choosing how to settle the same amount, rather than creating separate orders. Your internal record should show which route was chosen and whether another instruction has already been issued.

Reconcile before repeating the request

Define a check before reminders or replacement links are sent. Staff should review the invoice and available payment evidence together, especially while a new route is being trialled. SEPA and hybrid services are coming soon, subject to partner eligibility. A parallel-route plan is about controlling the commercial obligation; it does not make either route universally accessible or instantly settled.

Imagine this

An illustrative future scenario

Imagine a client receiving a legacy payment link while also asking for future euro receiving details. The agency marks the original link as an alternative against the same invoice, then confirms settlement before issuing a reminder or treating the second route as a second sale.

Make it practical.
