Agree the release condition

Before planning an international payment, discuss what evidence the supplier requires before releasing goods or starting work. A submitted instruction, an internal approval and a confirmed receipt are different pieces of information. The commercial agreement should identify the relevant condition without asking either party to infer it from a reassuring phrase.

Keep the financial and delivery records linked

Record who verifies the agreed evidence and who authorises fulfilment. Avoid inventing real-time arrival guarantees or assuming a payment screenshot meets the supplier’s condition. Tap Tap Go’s planned SWIFT capability is coming soon; actual statuses and supporting documents would depend on the eventual provider and supported route.

Imagine this

An illustrative future scenario

Consider a buyer preparing a future payment for custom packaging. The supplier agrees which confirmed evidence is needed before production begins. Both teams can then distinguish preparation, financial progress and the separate authorisation to start the manufacturing job.

Make it practical.
