Keep the adjustment visible
When an invoice changes, record whether the difference represents additional work, a correction, a discount or a cancelled item. Retain the earlier version where appropriate and make the current amount unmistakable. A proposed international transfer should be prepared from the authorised obligation rather than whichever attachment happens to be newest in a chat.
Review existing preparation
Check whether any earlier instruction has already entered the financial workflow before replacing it. Ask the provider about available options rather than assuming it can be edited or cancelled. Tap Tap Go’s planned SWIFT and SEPA routes are coming soon; the eventual programme will define the actions available at each stage.
An illustrative future scenario
Picture a supplier reducing an order after the buyer has prepared a future payment file. The finance reviewer checks the existing instruction’s status and reconciles the revised invoice before deciding on the next permitted action, avoiding two inconsistent payment plans.
Make it practical.
