Define the two approvals
An invoice review can establish that the goods, service and amount match the commercial agreement. A transfer review must also consider the intended recipient and actual instruction. Write both decisions into your proposed workflow rather than assuming an approved purchase automatically approves every set of receiving details later attached to it.
Keep a clear handoff
The person preparing a future transfer should know what has already been checked and what still requires confirmation. Avoid inventing Tap Tap Go role controls or a particular approval interface. Its proposed SEPA service is coming soon; your internal process can define the necessary decisions while waiting for confirmed programme capabilities and access.
An illustrative future scenario
Consider a business that approves a supplier’s invoice on Monday. Before any future payment, a separate review notices that the receiving instructions have changed. The commercial approval remains valid, while the financial instruction receives the additional verification it needs.
Make it practical.
