Do not make every item wait
Sketch a supplier-payment list with a clear status for unresolved commercial questions. An incorrect invoice amount, uncertain payee identity or missing approval should be visible before the item enters any supported financial journey. Separating those questions helps the team avoid assuming that a provider rejection is the only reason a payment might need attention.
Preserve individual accountability
Keep each invoice linked to its own decision and reviewer, even if several items are prepared together. Do not assume Tap Tap Go will offer bulk submission or automated exception management. SEPA is coming soon and programme-dependent; the queue can begin as your own controlled process, ready to use whatever confirmed capabilities eventually exist.
An illustrative future scenario
Imagine a studio preparing five supplier payments. Four have agreed invoices; the fifth has an unexplained quantity change. The team isolates that commercial query instead of labelling all five “ready” or postponing the entire supplier review without a reason.
Make it practical.
