Keep attribution factual

A Tap Tap Go referral record does not automatically support transferable credit or participant-controlled reassignment. An introduction record should describe what actually happened. Do not assume that a reward can be redirected because two people agree privately or because one person prefers another account to receive it.

Use the authorised process

If a referral was recorded incorrectly, explain the issue through the programme’s support route with appropriate evidence. A correction to an error is different from creating a new commercial arrangement after the event. The programme owner needs to determine what its current rules permit.

Protect the customer journey

Avoid asking the referred customer to reverse, repeat or misstate an action purely to change who receives recognition. That can introduce confusion into their purchase and support records. A premium programme should keep attribution questions manageable without making the customer’s truthful experience less clear.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

In a hypothetical case, two colleagues decide after a purchase that one should receive the other’s programme recognition. Their agreement does not automatically bind the platform. They should ask whether the programme supports any relevant process, while leaving the customer’s original order and account information accurate.

Make it practical.
