Recognise the existing relationship

Someone may already use Tap Tap Go, have an open enquiry or belong to a corporate deployment when a friend sends an invitation. The current referral rules determine whether any of those situations qualifies. Treat the customer’s actual status as relevant information rather than something to work around.

Check eligibility honestly

Read the programme explanation for existing users and previous customer activity. Do not advise someone to create another account, hide an earlier relationship or repeat a purchase to make a referral appear new. A legitimate programme journey should be understandable from truthful records.

Keep the recommendation useful

An existing customer can still benefit from discovering a feature, a relevant programme or a better way to use their profile. That product value does not depend on the sender earning recognition. If qualification is unclear, ask the programme owner while allowing the customer to continue with the account and workflow that genuinely fit their situation.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, a user receives a referral invitation after already joining through a corporate team. The invitation may still introduce useful product information, but it is not evidence of a new-customer referral. The participant should confirm the applicable rule rather than opening a duplicate personal account solely to seek a reward.

Make it practical.
