Distinguish repetition from progress

A person might open a Tap Tap Go invitation more than once, ask a new question or return after a meeting. These actions can show continuing interest. They do not automatically represent new referrals, new customers or additional qualifying rewards under the programme.

Check the event definition

A duplicate rule should follow the actual programme’s customer and action definitions. Participants should not improvise by changing contact details or creating extra accounts. If records appear duplicated, provide the relevant context through support and preserve the truthful customer journey rather than trying to maximise the count.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, one prospect opens an invitation on Monday and returns on Thursday to enquire. The second visit may be useful progress, but it is still connected to the same person. Programme recognition depends on the defined qualifying event.

Make it practical.
