Locate the agreed obligation
Read the invoice and contract together to establish what currency defines the amount owed. Then distinguish that obligation from the currency the sender holds and the currency the proposed route might deliver. These are planning questions to resolve, not reasons to assume that a displayed balance can settle every international invoice.
Ask about the complete path
Where conversion would be required, seek confirmed information about how the supported programme handles it and what records would be available. Do not invent a currency list or assume a quoted conversion removes all uncertainty. Tap Tap Go’s SWIFT and hybrid money-movement proposals are coming soon and remain subject to partner arrangements and customer eligibility.
An illustrative future scenario
Imagine a business with a euro-denominated supplier agreement preparing a future transfer from a differently denominated funding source. It confirms the obligation first and then evaluates whether the proposed path can satisfy that agreement, rather than changing the invoice currency for convenience.
Make it practical.
