Use two columns
Create separate columns for funds used in a supported transfer rehearsal and the costs of running the pilot. Staff time, training, reconciliation and provider charges answer a different question from the amount moved. Keeping those columns separate makes the test easier to explain to a budget owner and prevents activity from being mistaken for economic benefit.
Approve what the test can spend
Set an internal spending boundary and a reviewer for unexpected costs. Do not insert an assumed provider price or fee exemption simply because a route is still proposed. Tap Tap Go’s partner-led SEPA and crypto-to-bank plans are coming soon, and the applicable commercial terms would need confirmation before any live trial or cost comparison.
An illustrative future scenario
Imagine a business planning a future transfer rehearsal involving an agreed supplier amount. It separately budgets the employee time needed to collect evidence and reconcile the result. The review then explains both the payment outcome and the cost of learning from it.
Make it practical.
