Ask what leaving actually involves

Request the supported withdrawal destinations, relevant fees, minimums, review conditions and account-closure process. Clarify how remaining assets or fiat balances are handled and whether different parts of the service have different rules. An easy funding journey does not answer the exit question. Record the terms for the actual asset and account involved rather than relying on a general promise that customers can withdraw whenever they wish.

Design a bounded evaluation

If appropriate and permitted, plan a small operational trial that includes both entry and exit, using an amount and process you independently consider suitable. Decide in advance what evidence constitutes successful completion and what would stop further use. Retain the records needed for accounting and ask how access changes after closure. This is a test of operational fit, not investment advice or a prediction that a service will perform identically under every future market or provider condition.

Imagine this

Hypothetical example

A hypothetical freelancer evaluates a service with a limited operational trial after reviewing its terms. The trial includes retrieving statements and understanding the withdrawal process, rather than only checking that funding appears. Those observations help her judge whether the service fits occasional use and future recordkeeping needs.

Make it practical.
