Recognise the two relationships

A company may adopt Tap Tap Go for its team and later see an opportunity to introduce it to clients. Internal use demonstrates experience with a particular deployment. It does not automatically grant reseller authority, territory rights or compensation on future introductions.

Define the proposed channel role

Clarify whether the company wants to refer, resell, implement or support the product. Each role has different customer-facing work. Use an appropriate programme discussion to establish commercial terms and approved messaging rather than extending the customer agreement informally.

Protect the original deployment

Keep the company’s own account administration and employee experience separate from its prospective channel activity. Customer data should not become a marketing resource simply because a new partnership is being discussed. A clear separation makes it easier to evaluate the additional opportunity on its actual merits.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, an agency uses Tap Tap Go for 30 employees and wants to recommend it during client projects. That could lead to a channel discussion, but the agency should not begin calling itself an authorised distributor before a role is agreed. Its internal deployment and commercial programme remain separate.

Make it practical.
