Identify the right support route

A Tap Tap Go participant who loses a device may need help with account access and separately with any financial services. A local ambassador or referrer is not automatically authorised to recover the account. Use the appropriate official process rather than sharing passwords or verification codes privately.

Keep programme questions distinct

Once legitimate access is restored, the participant can review programme records and raise any specific discrepancy. Do not assume the lost device erased recognition or that a replacement phone creates a new eligible identity. Different services may have their own requirements and support ownership.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, a member asks the person who referred them to log in and recover a reward record. The referrer instead directs them to the official recovery route. That preserves the member’s account control while keeping programme history questions separate from credential handling.

Make it practical.
