Ask what competes with practice

Before training, identify which routine commitments could prevent employees from applying the learning. They may lack approved content, time to prepare or permission to change a company profile. Ask the manager to resolve those specific barriers. A motivational introduction cannot substitute for a decision the employee is not authorised to make.

Protect a real practice opportunity

Agree when the team can try the relevant Tap Tap Go journey and who will answer organisational questions. Keep the manager's review focused on whether the work became easier, rather than public comparisons of individual enthusiasm. Invite staff to report tasks that remain blocked. This gives leadership a concrete contribution while leaving personal profile decisions and optional programme participation with the appropriate person.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, a sales team attends training but has no approved project summaries. Its manager assigns a content owner and sets aside preparation time before a client event. The next session can focus on practice because the organisational blockage has been removed.

Make it practical.
