Choose a finishable unit
Invite the customer to select one task before the appointment: prepare a profile introduction, clarify a document label or practise a recipient handoff. Confirm the materials needed so the session begins with the task. A short appointment needs a realistic stopping point; compressing every feature into fewer minutes creates rushed instruction rather than convenient learning.
Leave a clear continuation
Record what the customer finished, what remains and whether another session would be useful. Give them the specific reference for the unfinished step. Do not automatically turn a brief help appointment into a recurring programme. Flexibility means customers use the amount of support matching their need and return with a concrete question when necessary.
Hypothetical programme scene
Hypothetically, a consultant has a gap between meetings and wants a clearer project introduction. The short session focuses on that text and its recipient purpose. A separate question about corporate administration is recorded for an appropriate later conversation.
Make it practical.
