Choose the right contact route

Tap Tap Go’s quick icons include calling. Decide whether the profile should connect to an individual, a team or a business line. That choice should reflect the role and expected enquiry. A prominent call action can create an expectation of direct access. Do not publish a number that is rarely monitored or belongs to someone who cannot answer the relevant questions.

Explain the context when needed

If there are practical limits, such as a preferred working window or a separate support route, communicate them clearly without overwhelming the profile. Test the actual published number and ensure it remains correct after role changes. Keep a written alternative available for questions that need documents or detailed context. The call icon is a convenient entry point, but it does not replace the need for a coherent response process behind it.

Imagine this

Hypothetical scenario

A hypothetical team profile routes calls to the business contact responsible for new enquiries, while technical support has a separate route. A visitor reaches someone who understands the purpose of the call instead of being transferred through several unrelated contacts.

Make it practical.
