The conversation is the source of change
A contact may clarify that they are an adviser rather than a buyer, that the project has moved or that a colleague owns the decision. In Tap Tap Go’s CRM and intended AI review model, that correction should change the working context. Do not keep using an earlier summary because it supported a more attractive sales story. The purpose of assistance is to help the team understand the relationship, not defend the first interpretation.
Carry the correction through the workflow
Update the relevant authorised notes and notify colleagues who need the new context. Reassess any priority suggestion or draft based on the old information. Keep the correction factual and avoid adding assumptions about why the person clarified it. If the next step changes, acknowledge that in a reviewed message sent manually by the user. Consider whether a similar wording problem in the profile created the misunderstanding, and improve the introduction if the correction reveals a recurring issue.
Hypothetical example
A person explains that they were requesting information for a colleague, not making a purchase decision themselves. The salesperson updates the record and drafts a shareable overview instead of continuing a buyer-focused sequence. The relationship becomes more useful because the correction is accepted and reflected in the next action.
Make it practical.
