Write for the person arriving late
A screen at an event may be seen by someone who missed the explanation. State whether the code opens a profile, an offer or a supported payment destination. A large logo alone does not tell the visitor what action follows, and a crowd should not be expected to infer the financial purpose from context.
Give uncertainty a clear route
Include a visible contact or information path for questions. Confirm the actual destination before displaying it and avoid showing private account information as part of the public explanation.
Hypothetical worked scene
In a hypothetical product event, a shared screen displays a QR for a defined offer rather than a generic instruction to scan. A late-arriving visitor can understand the next step from the label and review the supported destination. The presenter does not assume that the scan itself demonstrates a completed purchase.
Make it practical.
