Keep a useful reference in the proper place

A user may need to revisit an event after a meeting, trip or project. Preserve the appropriate permitted reference and supporting context through the actual available process. Do not assume a notification alone contains everything needed, or that a screenshot should replace the relevant current record.

Make the later question easy to state

The goal is to identify the service, event and purpose without exposing unrelated information. A concise record habit can make the financial feature useful long after the original interaction has left the screen.

Imagine this

Hypothetical worked scene

In a hypothetical project handover, a professional notes the relevant financial reference beside the agreed task in the authorised project record. Weeks later, the team can locate the event and ask a precise question. The history feature remains useful because the surrounding context was preserved, not because everyone remembers the original app session.

Make it practical.
