Keep a persistent project key

Choose an internal identifier that remains the same when a campaign, development or client initiative is renamed. Store the familiar project name beside it for readability. This gives future euro receipts a durable link without depending on every customer copying the latest marketing title into the payment description.

Preserve the earlier language

Retain a simple name-history note where needed to interpret old invoices and conversations. Do not edit historical evidence to make it look as though the new name was always used. Tap Tap Go’s planned receiving services are coming soon; stable internal identifiers can be prepared now and tested against eventual provider records when the supported journey exists.

Imagine this

An illustrative future scenario

Imagine a studio renaming a campaign after the client’s first instalment. The original invoice reference still connects to the same project key, so the future payment record remains understandable even though the public portfolio later uses the new campaign title.

Make it practical.
