Carry the purpose through
Keep the original invoice or agreement linked to your internal payment identifier across the proposed funding, conversion and transfer stages. A change in the form of value should not force the team to reconstruct why the movement happened. Keep only the relevant business context rather than repeatedly attaching an entire client history.
Reconcile stages against the obligation
When an actual supported route becomes available, identify which records answer the funding, conversion and bank-receipt questions. Do not assume one stage proves all the others. Tap Tap Go’s crypto-to-bank capability is coming soon and partner-led; the eventual programme would define what records and references can be used to connect the journey.
An illustrative future scenario
Imagine a production company preparing a future digital-asset-funded supplier payment. Its internal project key stays attached to each relevant record, so the accountant can understand the obligation after the conversation has moved from a creative brief to conversion and bank receipt.
Make it practical.
