Protect the promise you have already made
A new service package can be ready before the financial programme you hope to use. The brochure is finished, the client is interested and the delivery date matters. Keep those commitments grounded in a collection method that works today. You can be excited about the next chapter without making your first customer wait for it.
Change the instructions when they are usable
Write down what must be confirmed before you switch: customer eligibility, active receiving details, a supported transaction route and a record your team can reconcile. A launch announcement alone does not answer those questions. Tap Tap Go’s SEPA and virtual IBAN capabilities remain coming soon. Keep current instructions available and make any later change clear to the customer who is actually paying.
Look at the next customer commitment
Choose the nearest invoice deadline or supplier payment. Does it depend on receiving details that are not active yet? If so, write down the method you can use now and tell the person responsible. That one decision can prevent a whole team from assuming someone else has solved the problem.
Make the switch a conversation
When a future programme becomes available, review the actual instructions with the people who send invoices and answer customer questions. Decide who approves the change and how customers will hear about it. Keep a record of which instructions applied to each invoice. Tap Tap Go’s planned SEPA and vIBAN services are not presented here as live: readiness depends on the relevant licensed partners, programme permissions and customer eligibility.
The consultant who keeps her date
Imagine a consultant launching a European service package while a proposed receiving programme is still being prepared. She accepts payment through her established method. When the new route is supported and checked, she updates the instructions. Her client can focus on the work they agreed to do together.
Make it practical.
