Describe the event, not an accusation
If an expected programme event does not appear, begin with the applicable programme and the action you believe qualified. First verify the current programme description and qualifying rules. An expectation based on an old campaign may not match the programme being used.
Bring relevant evidence
Record the date, approximate time, displayed status and any programme reference available through the authorised interface. Share only information needed to investigate. A profile interaction does not establish permission to expose someone else’s contact details, messages or financial information in a support ticket.
Ask for the next decision
Request clarification about qualification, processing or the appropriate review route. Avoid creating duplicate activity or multiple overlapping cases unless support asks for it. Keep the response with the original record so any follow-up describes what remains unresolved rather than starting the same conversation again.
Hypothetical programme scene
Hypothetically, a member expects recognition after an invitation but sees no related event. A useful enquiry states which invitation programme was used, when the action occurred and what the current terms led the member to expect. It does not assume that every invitation automatically earns a reward.
Make it practical.
