Choose the relationship stage

Tap Tap Go’s ecosystem can support loyalty and referral concepts. A customer-appreciation benefit recognises an existing relationship, while an acquisition programme may recognise a defined new customer action. Keeping the objectives separate makes the offer easier to explain and the results more useful.

Match the evidence

Appreciation may be assessed through member feedback and continued usefulness, while referral performance requires the actual qualifying event. Do not count every gifted benefit as a newly acquired customer or assume a thank-you creates an obligation to refer. The programme should preserve the genuine meaning of the gesture.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, a company provides a defined benefit to existing members after an event. That is appreciation spending, not proof of new customer acquisition. If members later make eligible introductions, those events can be evaluated separately under the referral programme.

Make it practical.
