Separate the demonstration surface
Use a designated sample screen for the facilitator's explanation. Participants follow on their own devices without being asked to project their personal view. Before inviting someone to show a problem, offer a description-only route. This avoids revealing unrelated notifications, private documents or information beside the question.
Provide a quieter troubleshooting space
Arrange an optional side conversation for issues needing individual attention. Ask what the participant is comfortable showing and let them control the device. If the issue concerns credentials or a specialist service, explain the appropriate support route rather than inspecting it in the workshop. Good room design removes the need to choose between getting help and exposing personal information.
Hypothetical programme scene
Hypothetically, a participant wants help with a profile document but has client messages open nearby. The facilitator discusses the document label privately instead of mirroring the entire phone to the room. The group continues learning from the approved sample.
