Identify the affected task

Begin with what has changed in the current approved guidance and which users are affected. Explain the difference through a familiar task rather than a list of release terminology. If the change does not affect a customer's work, they may only need a brief reference. Avoid implying new availability or eligibility from an old demonstration.

Let users compare old and new

Show the previous understanding beside the revised process where useful, and identify what the user should do next. Give them a small practice opportunity and update the relevant learning resource. Retire conflicting instructions. The proposed format keeps attention on the actual adaptation instead of treating every product change as a reason for another broad promotional event.

Imagine this

Hypothetical programme scene

Hypothetically, a company changes the approved route for service enquiries in its deployment. A short refresher explains where those enquiries should now go and lets staff rehearse the handoff. Employees do not need to repeat unrelated portfolio training.

Make it practical.
