Choose a useful level of detail
A public profile may need a general response expectation or current project intake status rather than a live view of your entire diary. Explain whether you are accepting new work, scheduling future projects or available for a specific kind of conversation. Avoid creating urgency through an unsupported claim of limited spaces. The information should reflect a real capacity decision.
Keep the statement current
Assign an owner and a review trigger for availability notices. Remove outdated holiday messages and update intake information when capacity changes. If several people handle enquiries, make sure their response matches the public statement. A profile that says immediate availability while the team is unable to respond creates unnecessary disappointment. Clear expectations can be more useful than a promise of constant access.
Hypothetical example
A hypothetical studio is booking projects for the following quarter. It states that timing clearly and still offers an initial discussion for suitable work. Prospects can decide whether the schedule fits their needs without assuming that submitting an enquiry reserves a production slot.
Make it practical.
