Review the destination, not only the card
The physical card and digital profile work together in Tap Tap Go’s connected ecosystem. When a role, company or public offer changes, inspect the experience a recipient reaches through the card. Do not assume that updating one account field corrects every linked resource. Check the introduction, contact actions and featured documents. The recipient will interpret the whole destination as the current identity associated with the object.
Use supported management options
If reassignment or destination changes are relevant, confirm the current product’s supported process and account permissions. Avoid assuming that every card can be freely repurposed. Review any printed name or company information that could conflict with the digital destination. The goal is continuity without misleading the person receiving the card. A card that still looks impressive can create confusion if its associated story belongs to a previous role or organisation.
Hypothetical scenario
A hypothetical founder changes the company represented by a profile. Before using existing cards at an event, they verify the actual destination and check whether printed information remains accurate. Any necessary management action follows the provider’s supported process rather than an assumed reassignment capability.
Make it practical.
