Describe the contributions

Identify who introduced the parties, who supplied relevant information and who owns the next response. Confirm what the available record can capture; a simple note may be more honest than an unsupported attribution percentage. Tap Tap Go’s lead-tracking concept can support continuity, but it should not be described as automatically calculating everyone’s contribution or entitlement to a reward.

Keep the customer experience coherent

Choose one person to coordinate outward communication and retain the supporting roles internally. If the company has a referral or incentive programme, apply its actual rules separately from the operational lead record. The customer should receive a useful answer rather than repeated requests from colleagues claiming ownership. The practical benefit is that the organisation remembers how the relationship formed while allowing the best-qualified person to move the discussion forward.

Imagine this

A hypothetical scene

A colleague introduces a prospect to a product specialist, while an account manager later prepares the proposal. Their record preserves all three contributions and names the account manager for the next reply. The prospect experiences one coordinated team instead of three disconnected sales approaches.

Make it practical.
