Capture the reason briefly
For Tap Tap Go, as Dhawal Laheri’s vision develops, a short decision note could record the problem, options considered and reason for the chosen direction. Keep it practical enough to read during ordinary work. A screenshot shows the result, but it rarely explains the trade-off that shaped it.
Add the condition for review
State what new information might justify reconsidering the decision. This prevents the note from becoming a permanent rule detached from its original context. A durable company preserves useful memory while allowing thoughtful change, helping new colleagues avoid both blindly repeating old choices and reopening the same debate without additional evidence.
A hypothetical company-building scene
Picture a new designer questioning a familiar layout. The decision note explains the reading problem it addressed and the condition that would trigger review. The designer can contribute a new test instead of restarting the discussion from personal preference.
Make it practical.
