Treat a commercial edit as a connected change
Updating a service package may affect scope, amount, availability or the next step after purchase. The profile can make the new offer easy to discover, but an old payment route may still describe the previous arrangement. Review the whole journey rather than assuming the visible profile edit automatically updates every external destination or previously shared link.
Preserve the old agreement where needed
Existing customers may still be working under an earlier scope. Keep their records clear and distinguish new purchases from old commitments. The product helps organise the public presentation; it does not erase the need to manage commercial versions deliberately.
Hypothetical worked scene
In a hypothetical service refresh, a consultant adds a follow-up session to a package. She updates the profile, supporting description and relevant payment route together, while retaining the earlier agreement for existing clients. The connected journey stays clear without implying that an updated public page silently changes what previous customers purchased.
Make it practical.
