Preserve the original cost story

When people agree to share a permitted expense, the original receipt explains what was bought. A supported Go Cash movement may relate to a later contribution between eligible parties. Do not count that movement as another purchase of the same item or assume the wallet record contains every detail of the original transaction.

Link the events with a clear purpose

Use an appropriate reference and keep the receipt where it belongs. The example should explain the relationship between the records without inventing an automatic expense-management or accounting integration.

Imagine this

Hypothetical worked scene

In a hypothetical project, one collaborator buys a shared prop and the other agrees a contribution. If their Go Cash arrangement supports the movement, they connect it to the original expense record. The wallet entry explains the contribution, while the receipt remains the evidence of the purchase itself rather than two separate costs.

Make it practical.
