Match the verb to the destination
An enquiry route invites a conversation, a booking route concerns an appointment and a payment route leads to a financial process. The actual configuration determines how these steps relate. Do not label a payment destination as a simple enquiry if the visitor will encounter a commitment they were not expecting.
Use clarity to improve the journey
Distinct wording helps people choose the action that fits their stage. A more elegant page is not necessarily the one with the fewest words; it is the one where the next step means what the visitor reasonably expects.
Hypothetical worked scene
In a hypothetical professional profile, the buttons for an enquiry and a paid consultation are clearly different. A visitor can ask a scope question without entering a financial flow, while an informed buyer can choose the appropriate purchase route. The product supports both intentions without presenting them as one ambiguous tap.
Make it practical.
