Let the demonstration lead

A physical demonstration gives a visitor something to see or try. Tap Tap Go’s NFC sharing can provide the next layer: the demonstrator’s identity, a product explanation, approved documents or a relevant video. Offer the tap when the visitor has a reason to want that information. The interaction feels more useful when it follows a question rather than interrupting the moment with an unexplained technology step.

Provide a clear alternative

Phone compatibility, settings and placement can affect an NFC interaction. Have the profile’s QR or link available, and make the destination clear before inviting someone to open it. The visitor should be able to continue the conversation regardless of which route works. A physical identity card sharing a profile should not be presented as a payment card or as proof of a transaction. Explain the task it performs in this demonstration.

Imagine this

Hypothetical scenario

Imagine a maker demonstrating a sample at a showroom. After discussing materials, the maker offers a tap to open a profile containing an approved specification guide and a way to ask follow-up questions.

Make it practical.
