Choose the relevant progression

A portfolio video can show selected stages of a project: the initial question, a meaningful iteration and the completed output. Explain why those stages were chosen. Avoid using rapid montage to imply a process that was not actually followed or to hide the distinction between concept and delivery.

Keep the account attributable

State your role and identify reconstructed or illustrative elements. The viewer should understand what the sequence demonstrates and what remains outside the account. A connected case study can provide deeper context for people who want to examine the decisions behind the visual progression.

Imagine this

Hypothetical scenario

A hypothetical designer creates a short sequence showing an approved concept, a revised prototype and the delivered interface. Captions identify the stages and the designer’s contribution, with a linked case study explaining the main decision.

Make it practical.
