Keep the destination coherent
Tap Tap Go’s connected ecosystem includes QR as a fallback for profile sharing. Check that the code used in a meeting opens the intended profile and matches the identity you are presenting. A fallback is less useful if it sends the visitor to a generic page that loses the context. The sharing method may change, but the professional introduction should remain recognisable and accurate.
Prepare the transition
Explain the alternative plainly and let the recipient choose whether to scan or use a readable link. If the code is shown on a screen or printed material, test it in that actual presentation rather than only from its source file. Do not confuse a profile QR with a payment QR: the destination and purpose should be explicit. The point is continuity of information, with the recipient understanding what they are opening.
Hypothetical scenario
A hypothetical presenter switches from a card tap to a QR code during a meeting. Both lead to the same professional profile. The presenter says that the code opens the project information, avoiding any suggestion that scanning will initiate a payment or confirm an order.
Make it practical.
