Separate current relevance from historical value

A profile should foreground the work that explains your present offer. An archive can retain older examples for readers who want depth, provided the current product setup or linked resources supports it. Label dates and project status so the material is not mistaken for recent activity. Avoid removing useful context merely to create the impression that everything happened recently.

Keep the archive coherent

Group older work by purpose and maintain permissions, links and accurate role descriptions. Do not let an archive become a forgotten collection of outdated claims. A reader should understand why the work is still available and how it relates to your current capability. The profile can be selective without erasing the history behind it.

Imagine this

Hypothetical scenario

A hypothetical studio moves an early project into a dated archive while highlighting current work. The older example remains useful for explaining a particular method, but it no longer implies the studio’s current design direction or service scope.

Make it practical.
