Identify the active routes

A retired brochure may still be reached through employee profiles, QR materials or saved links. Map those routes and confirm how the current Tap Tap Go setup manages their destinations. Do not assume that deleting a file from one place removes copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere. Decide what a returning visitor should see: a clear historical label, a current replacement or a relevant contact route.

Explain the change to staff

Give representatives a concise reason for the retirement and the approved alternative. The aim is continuity of understanding, not simply removal of a file. Check that the new material answers the same practical question where possible, and explain any changed scope. The customer should not be surprised by an unrelated document appearing behind a familiar link. The corporate benefit is fewer stale claims and less time spent correcting information during active commercial discussions.

Imagine this

A hypothetical scene

A company withdraws an old service brochure after reorganising its offer. It updates the maintained profile routes and gives representatives a new explanation. A customer returning from an earlier meeting can understand the change rather than encountering a missing file or an unexplained replacement.

Make it practical.
